We’re here to help you reach your full potential

Navigating life's challenges can be easier with the right support. No matter what you need, or where your head is at, we’ll be able to support you. This includes if you’re being impacted by someone else’s substance use.

What support is available?

We take pride in offering a safe, inclusive, and easily accessible service for everyone, whilst celebrating the richness that diversity brings to our community. We provide a range of specialised support, approaching every contact with empathy and understanding.

The 50+ Crowd

The 50+ Crowd is a welcoming weekly social group for people over 50 who have experienced or are currently dealing with challenges related to alcohol or drug use.

It’s a space to connect with others, share experiences, and take part in activities in a relaxed, judgement-free environment. Whether you’re looking for companionship, support, or just a friendly chat, you’re always welcome.

Frequently asked questions

We understand you may have questions about our support. We've answered some of the most frequently asked questions to help provide some guidance.

Do I have to pay to use the service?

No! Our drug and alcohol support services are completely free of charge.

Will anyone find out I am using your service?

All your information is kept safe and not shared outside of our organisation without your explicit permission. We are only required to share information with other professionals if there is a serious risk to you or someone else.

I know someone who might have a problem. Can I refer them?

It’s brilliant that you can see how support could benefit the person – but they must be aware of the referral. You can accompany the person to support them attending. We also understand that substance use can affect friends and family, so we offer a dedicated service for the family, friends, and carers of the people we support.

Still have questions?

Many people here have been on the same path as you and are happy to answer any other questions you have. Please get in touch to speak to a member of our friendly Horizons team.
